Klaviertrio Hannover

Katharina Sellheim - Piano
Stefan Zientekd - Violin
Oliver Mascarenhas - Violoncello

The Hannover Piano Trio comprises three musicians: Stefan Zientek, violin (1st alternating concertmaster of the Lower Saxony State Orchestra Hannover), Oliver Mascarenhas, cello (cellist with the NDR Radio Philharmonic Hannover), and Katharina Sellheim, piano (soloist and piano partner of renowned artists). Their exciting and captivating play in varied programs have delighted critics and prosperous audiences at concert halls both in Germany and abroad. Following acclaimed concerts, including at the Elbphilharmonie, the ensemble recorded the renowned CD Ludwig van Beethoven: The Piano Quartets Op. 16a and WoO 36 (Genuin/SWR) with Konstantin Sellheim, viola (Munich Philharmonic).

The Hannover Piano Trio also devotes itself to lesser-known works with great passion. For the first time, rediscovered trios and sonatas by Emilie Mayer were performed LIVE by the Hannover Piano Trio in cooperation with NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk).

Three of the piano trios are included on the world premiere recording: Missing Link Emilie Mayer – Newly Discovered Piano Trios in D Minor, E-Flat Major, and A Minor (Genuin/NDR). They are being released by Furore-Verlag.
